Founded in 2005, TrueModern strives to create modern, minimalist furniture at an affordable price. As a modern parent myself, I was bored with the kids' furniture designs in today's market. TrueModern's first line of kids’ furniture is designed to be simple, functional and safe. The color scheme uses familiar colors with a modern twist for an updated feel. All of our furniture and bedding has been tested to meet or exceed all American safety standards and the quality is guaranteed.

Edgar Blazona, Founder, CEO Edgar Blazona brings more than 14 years of furniture design and manufacturing experience to TrueModern. His deep knowledge of manufacturing, understanding of materials and the modernist aesthetic are the driving force behind TrueModern. Edgar has held senior design and creative positions at Williams Sonoma, Modular Dwellings, Thinc and the design firm “1994”.

Praised for its clean lines and impeccable workmanship, Edgar’s work is showcased in galleries, hotels and private collections worldwide including Sweden’s Ice Hotel, San Francisco’s Limn Gallery and Bergamont Station Arts Center in Los Angeles. Edgar and his designs have been featured in Vogue, Dwell, Paper, Ready Made and Metropolitan Home.
