Made from eco-friendly birch plywood. Non-toxic paints (inside and leaf lids) and non-toxic, low voc water-based polyurethane were used in construction. Mid-century style legs. Materials: Clear coat 1/2 inch eco-friendly birch plywood with painted details. Started by an ex-TV network marketing executive turned work-at-home mom turned self-taught furniture designer/builder Kiersten Hathcock. After leaving the corporate world in 2003 to spend more time with her kids (then 1 and 5), Kiersten rekindled a passion for woodworking during those rare moments when she had a minute to herself. Kiersten was always inspired by her father, a self-taught carpenter and woodworker, who built most of their furniture when she was growing up in Ohio.
